Dear FG Family,

As the world comes to terms with the rampant Coronavirus pandemic, we feel duty-bound to shed light on the situation to the best of our abilities. Being a responsible member of society, we would like to share some all-important information to be able to combat the spread of COVID-19 effectively.

Here's a list of Do's and Don'ts to bear in mind:

DOs

  • DO wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, several times a day. Avoid touching your face, eyes and nose as much as possible.
  • DO learn the symptoms, which are similar to flu, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.
  • DO seek medical help at the earliest if you have the abovementioned symptoms.
  • DO work from home as much as possible. Avoid stepping out for the time being.
  • DO reconsider travel to the affected countries, unless absolutely necessary.
  • DO cough or sneeze into the crook of your elbow or a tissue, and dispose of the tissue immediately in a covered bin.
  • DO be mindful of the Health and Safety Advisories issued by the Govt. They are for our own good.

DON’Ts

  • DON'T touch your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • DON’T travel if you have a fever. Avoid exerting yourself if you feel unwell.
  • DON’T panic. At this point, public health officials still say the risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 is low. Having said that, taking proper precautions is a good idea!
  • DON’T hang out with your family or friends if you suspect you have the virus.
  • DON’T reach for antibiotics. Antibiotics work only on illnesses caused by bacteria, and not on viruses.

Stay safe. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones. We urge you not to panic; let's overcome this with a concerted effort.

This too, shall pass.
