A tide of tranquility in the stormy seas. A wave of freshness with a gentle breeze. Our Leher collection has arrived.

Exhibiting the age-old tie-and-dye printing technique called Shibori, this collection is a confluence of cultures: Japanese influence and Indian heritage crafts.

They say culture is an inheritance; a matter of great pride and prestige. We couldn’t agree more. Striving to provide a platform for artisans to bring forth India’s heritage crafts, the concept of culture holds a special place in our hearts. While working on our new ‘Leher’ collection that showcases elements of two cultures, our happiness knew no bounds.

Recreating fascinating wavy printed patterns in shades of indigo, pink and grey, our new collection features comfortable silhouettes that are ideal for a mix of those endless WFH sessions and the all-important moments of leisure. Ranging from the classic A-line Kurtas to the slender Straight Kurtas and of course, the Designers’ Pick- our Breezy Kaftan Tops, each Cotton style from this collection has been conceptualized with the intent of offering unmatched comfort.

The collection derives its name from the Hindi term ‘Leher’ meaning wave, owing to the wavy patterns created by this printing technique. There are multiple variations of the Shibori printing technique that have come into being over time and are being practiced, even today. To name a few:

1. Kanoko Shibori
2. Muira Shibori
3. Kumo Shibori
4. Nui Shibori
5. Arashi Shibori
6. Itajime Shibori
