Thinking out of the box to make sure your shopping bags reach you on time: An ongoing challenge we’ve been faced with of late. Unusual circumstances call for extraordinary measures. Unlike a regular day, deliveries in the current scenario are nothing short of a feat.
Presently, here’s what the journey of an FG order looks like:
1. Your order is placed.
2. Each FG product undergoes a rigorous quality check.
3. The order is processed and packed within 24-48 hours of being placed.
4. The order is sanitized and made ready for dispatch: Depending on the delivery location, the pick-up is assigned to one of our multiple logistics partners by our designated team.
Our logistics partners have their own hurdles to overcome:
1. Limited manpower is an all-pervasive issue across most industries.
2. Essential activities like deep-cleaning and sanitization of packages and vehicles, thermal screening of delivery personnel, etc. tend to set deliveries back by a considerable time period.
3. To meet the surge in online-order deliveries, new hires are being inducted with streamlined training sessions.
4. Inter-state transportation has a fair share of roadblocks despite logistics being declared as ‘essential services’.
5. On countless occasions, their fulfillment centres end up falling in containment zones, bringing their delivery processes to a screeching halt.
6. Delivery parcels are diverted to the nearest Fulfillment Centres and Warehouses when one becomes non-operational, due to containment zones changing statuses overnight.
Despite our best efforts, there might be delays that are experienced- both, in terms of delivery as well as reverse pick-ups. Please bear with us in these extraordinary circumstances. Doing everything within our means to ensure a hassle-free shopping experience for you, we will be more than happy to process requests for returns/refunds that are raised within the stipulated period of 15 days from date of delivery. (subject to usual quality inspection.)
